Natural Bridge / Lexington KOAOur KOA NewsWATCH FOR OUR NEW SUMMER EVENT CALENDARThe 2009 camping season is just around the corner and we are so excited to show you what's new at the Natural Bridge KOA! Kids are FREE!For the entire month of November thru April of 2009, kids are FREE at the Natural Bridge KOA Campground! (Easter excluded) SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN APRIL!We'll celebrate Easter all month long AND -- the Easter bunny will be camping at the Natural Bridge KOA! He'll be joining us on our Easter hayrides and train rides, Easter egg hunts and crafts, Easter Bunny costume contest, Flashlight Carrot hunts and Easter games galore - and so much more! MAY EVENTS:In May, we'll have a rootin' tootin' good ole time with Jesse and the gang as we travel out to the wild, wild west for a rondezvous at the KOA Corral! With shootin' competitions, stick horse races, and a stagecoach hold-up! We'll have cowboy spittin' contests, ropin' demonstrations, cowboy karaoke, train rides, ice cream socials, night time rattle snake hunts, and maybe even a little square dancin'! Costumes are encouraged and don't forget to bring your squirt guns to fight off Bad Bart! MEMORIAL WEEKEND EVENTS!Our MEMORIAL WEEKEND cannot be matched! JUNE EVENTS:We're going to step back to the Renaissance and have a blast with King Arthur and Robin Hood! Be prepared to show off your chivalry with jousting tournaments, sword fights, and saving the Princess hayrides! The Faire will be a sure treat with jugglers, magicians, fairy tale ice cream socials and crafters. And so much more!!! Costumes encouraged. FATHERS DAY SPECIAL!June 19-21***Dad gets the Royal Treatment this weekend with a royal crown presented to them at check in and a free Royal Breakfast Buffet! We'll have special competitions, crafts and games to honor Dad - a weekend he'll NEVER forget!!! Plus, all of the Renaissance fun listed above! JULY EVENTSChristmas in July is back! Everyone enjoys getting presents so much, why not do it twice a year! Santa has already confirmed that HE WILL BE HERE! We'll have sleigh rides, site decorating and snowman making competitions; snowball fights, cookie decorating, christmas carol karaoke, flashlight reindeer hunts, puppet shows, "ice" cream socials, train rides with Santa, glowstick parade, and our NEW Big Screen Movie Nights!!! Whew! Christmas like you've never seen before! AUGUST EVENTSAUGUST is Pirate month, and we're going to have a squash bucklin' good time with Captain Sandy and his parrot Sam! There will be treasure hunts, costume contests, jewelry making, and other pirate crafts, night time scavenger hunts, Big Screen movies, ice cream socials, games and prizes for the kids! We'll throw in a train ride for the little mateys! PLUS all of the other amenities that make the Natural Bridge KOA your favorite family get-a-way!!! LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVENTSOur LABOR DAY WEEKEND cannot be matched! OCTOBER EVENTSThe colorful mountains are beautiful in October, so book your site early! Every weekend is halloween! Featuring carnival games, costume contests, hay rides and train rides. Trick or treating, pumpkin carving lessons, flashlight scavenger hunts and the "Terror Trail"! You're sure to have the best halloween ever! If you're looking for more SCARY stuff, just down the street you'll find Professor Cline's Haunted Museum and Lexington's Haunted Ghost Tour! |
